Hello, I'm Sarah, a Humanist wedding celebrant. And I'm delighted you're here!

I plan, write and conduct remarkable wedding ceremonies for one-of-a-kind couples.

It’s my mission to help you create a beautiful, meaningful occasion that’s 100% “you”.

Because why would you want a ceremony that’s anything less?

If anyone is getting married and is looking for a personalised ceremony from the heart, we couldn't recommend Sarah more highly.

Laura & Martin, Birmingham

Whether you’re newly engaged, you’ve been planning your wedding for some time, or you’re hoping to renew your vows – congratulations!

You might have found your way here because you don’t want a religious ceremony.

But perhaps you’d like something more bespoke and person than a typical civil ceremony. A celebration that is completely custom-made for you.

Well, you’ve come to just the right place, because that’s exactly what I do.

Want to chat about your wedding ceremony?

When you choose a Humanist ceremony, you're choosing to make it the most personal,
meaningful and memorable occasion for you and your guests.

The beauty of a Humanist ceremony is that there is no set formula. You are free to design something that is completely unique to you as a couple.

Your ceremony can include any combination of traditional and more offbeat features.

Classic and dignified… quirky and playful… relaxed and low key… beautifully simple or all the frills… what’s right is what works for you!

I will work with you to set the tone, craft the content and create the atmosphere that are perfect for you – and I can provide as little or as much guidance as you need.

Our guests all commented on what a personal ceremony it was.
Sarah put in so much attention to detail - she even trained our dog to come to the front to bring our wedding rings!

All of this, surrounded by those whom you love the most.
I think that's a pretty awesome way to get married.

You deserve a wedding ceremony that celebrates who you are

There’s nothing like the joy of embracing who you are and what you love, without submitting to opinions and expectations. With a Humanist ceremony you can:

To tell the story of your wonderful selves.

You can enjoy the moment where you commit to one another as no-one but your wonderful selves.

Yes, EVERY bit of your wedding day is important.

From the moment you wake up in the morning, to the last kiss goodnight… it’s a whirlwind of an experience.

As a celebrant, it’s my job to help you make sure that your ceremony – and the VERY REASON for the day itself – don’t get lost in the joyful blur!

And here's how it works

First things first...

I offer an initial, no-obligation chat, via phone or video call. This is an opportunity for you to find out what I look and sound like, to tell me about your wedding plans so far, and to ask any questions.

Booking

If you choose me as your celebrant (hooray!) I’ll send you an agreement, request a deposit, and book the date!

All the details!

In the months before your big day, we’ll arrange to meet up in person. I’ll ask you lots of questions and you’ll tell me all about yourselves and what you want your wedding to be like, so that we can plan your perfect ceremony. I’ll also send you some things by email.

Crafting and finessing

We’ll meet in person, I’ll ask you lots of questions and you’ll tell me all about yourselves. I’ll also send you some things to do by email so we can really capture all the details.

On the day
